Battle Racing Stars, previously titled Booster Raiders, is a premier racing game produced by Halfbrick Studios. It is a multiplayer racing game designed for mobile devices. It was launched as a beta in 2018 and subsequently distributed globally in early 2020. The game features a selection of Halfbrick characters, including Dan, Josie, and Barry Steakfries.

How to play Battle Racing Stars:

  • The game is predominantly played in an upright stance. The player may compete with a maximum of eleven racers: Barry Steakfries, Mari, Rory, Scientist, Katsuro, King, Josie, Flash, Dan, Z-Rex, and Sensei.
  • Advancing in levels will confer new skills and enhanced statistics, and will also be necessary if the player restricts them after achieving specific flags.
  • Maximizing flags to acquire trophies can elevate the player's level in Victory Road and yield incentives. Coins and gems are utilized for item acquisition as well.
  • The acquisition of coins and gems functions distinctly in the revised edition. Packs now be accessed practically instantaneously upon earning them for securing first place in a race, and players can now utilize coins to get gems, as well as gems to obtain coins, both at a reduced cost. Quests will refresh instantaneously rather than at regular intervals.

Features of the Battle Racing Stars game:

  • Collecting crystals allows the player to acquire additional flags; the quantity of flags earned is contingent upon the player's finishing position in the race; if the player finishes in last place, they will forfeit flags instead.
  • Races may occur on randomized tracks or periodically picked Arcade tracks. Arcade Mode courses may be performed with 1 to 3 tickets to enhance points and acquire rewards including packs, trails, currency, and outfits.
  • Upon the initial release of the game, Dan was incorporated as a character. Subsequently, Josie was incorporated as a character in a subsequent version. Josie was introduced in Jetpack Joyride at the global release of Battle Racing Stars in 2020. Installing Dan the Man will grant the player a Pixel Dan outfit.
  • The Resistance and Vendor are also depicted as secondary characters. During the Colossatron event, Dan acquires his knight attire upon reaching Stage 5. This is the inaugural vertical Halfbrick game, with the subsequent title being Magic Brick Wars.
  • This marks Dan and Josie's inaugural appearance in a different Halfbrick game, however it is unrelated to the Dan the Man series except for certain references.
  • Dan's subsequent appearance would be in Magic Brick Wars, followed by Jetpack Joyride as his third. The game frequently suggests a rivalry between Dan and Barry, as evidenced by the app icon and event cutscenes.
  • Dan exhibits a more vivid color palette in the Battle Racing Stars graphic style compared to his standard pixel sprite.

Release date:

  • The game was released on November 5, 2023, for Android devices, followed by a global release for iOS devices on November 8, 2023.
